Keratin Complex Smoothing Therapy is an in-salon treatment to give you smoother and shinier hair.  This treatment infuses keratin protein to the hair’s cuticle to reduce frizz and repair damage.  Keratin Complex Smoothing Therapy is non-damaging and can be used on any hair type.  The treatment reduces up to 95% of frizz, protects against humidity, speeds blow drying, and reduces styling time.

Keratin Complex Smoothing Therapy     $250+

Reduces up to 95% of frizz.  The results from this treatment will last up to 3 - 5 months with proper care.   Please allow 2 - 3 hours for this service.

Keratin Complex Express Blowout     $90+

Reduces up to 95% of frizz.  The results from this treatment will last up to 4 - 6 weeks with proper care.   Please allow up to 1 hour for this service.

Intense RX Repair Therapy  $30 ($15 if added to cut or color service)

Intense RX returns strength and shine to the hair and repairs damage.  The results from this treatment will last through several shampoos.   Intense RX can also be used as a follow-up to the Smoothing Therapy or Express Blowout to “refresh” the results.

Will this make my hair straight?

This is not a straightening treatment, so your hair will still be wavy or curly.  The treatment is meant to reduce frizz, but it will slightly relax your curls.  The results depend on how much curl you have - If your hair is just a little wavy, your results will be much straighter than someone with tight curls.  If your hair is very curly, it will still be curly after the treatment.  

Why do the models appear to have straight hair in the before-and-after photos?

The treatment is “activated” by using a flat iron after it has been applied to the hair.  You will leave the salon with “straight” hair because it will have been flat ironed, but after you shampoo it will return to your normal curl pattern - except without any frizz!

Is this treatment only for curly hair?

No!  This treatment can be done on straight, wavy, or curly hair - it’s great for anyone who is fighting frizz.

Is this treatment permanent?

The keratin will gradually wash out and your hair will return to normal.  You can get the maximum results from the treatment by using the recommended shampoo/conditioner and washing your hair less often.  You can  also purchase Keratin Infusion styling product for at-home maintenance.  Also, the Intense RX Repair Therapy can be done between treatments to “refresh” the results.

Do I need a special shampoo and conditioner?

For best results, it is recommended to use Keratin Care Shampoo and Conditioner.  The shampoo and conditioner are available for purchase at the salon for $19 each.  Results can not be guaranteed if other shampoo is used.

Can treatment be done the same day as other services?

Yes!  Any of these treatments can be done the same day as color, highlights, or haircuts.  It is recommended to wait 2 weeks before doing treatment on previously relaxed or chemically straightened hair.

How soon can I wash my hair?

For the Smoothing Therapy you must wait 72 hours before getting your hair wet or shampooing.  The Express Blowout can get wet or be shampooed after only 8 hours.  Use a shower cap while bathing.  If hair gets wet during the waiting period (from rain, sweat, etc) blow dry and flat iron immediately.

Any other restrictions after the service?

For the Smoothing Therapy wait 72 hours before using clips, rubber bands, bobby pins, head bands, etc.  Do not   rest eyeglasses on your head.  The same restrictions apply for Express Blowout, but the waiting period is only 8 hours for that service.

How often can I do the treatments?

Treatments can be done as often as every 4 to 6 weeks.

I LOVE IT!! It's great, I've washed my hair twice, the first time I only blow dried it and it looked like I used a flat iron (it wasn't perfectly straight but it wasn't frizzy). Tonight I used a blow drier and then I went over it quickly with a large curling iron. It curled and it was so much faster since I didn't have to try to get the frizz out also. It makes my hair so much easier to style and probably cuts my styling time in half (at  least). I would definitely recommend the treatment and will most likely have you do it again :)
